Boeing Stock Rises as Ryanair Delivery Pace Accelerates
Boeing shares gained nearly 2% Wednesday after delivering 10 aircraft to Ryanair in 10 days—a pace the Irish carrier called unprecedented. "We've never taken that many," said the airline, which now stands just a few planes short of fulfilling its current order ahead of peak summer travel.
The turnaround comes after months of public criticism from Ryanair, Boeing's largest European customer. With plans to ramp production to 42 jets monthly, the aerospace giant appears to be regaining credibility. Meanwhile, certification efforts continue for the grounded 737-7 and 737-10 MAX variants.
